As we reported in last month’s ebulletin, instead of increasing with effect from 1 February as they have done in previous years, Tribunal rates and limits are now to be reviewed with effect from 6 April each year.
On 26 February the Government announced this year’s rates which will apply where the effective date of termination of employment is on or after 6 April 2014. The percentage increase is based on the increase in RPI (3.2%) – leaving us with figures which definitely aren’t as nice and round as the current ones!
They are as follows:
