Events

We regularly run free seminars and workshops to update our clients and contacts on current issues in employment law. Our sessions are always focused on the practical application of employment law to real workplace situations.

In addition, we have launched a series of training sessions in which we cover specific topics in more depth than we are able to in our free events, and help equip managers, business owners and HR professionals for dealing with issues in their workplace.

Whatever the type of event, always take an interactive approach, and we encourage delegates to ask questions and share their experiences, as we believe this makes the events more useful for everyone. We are experienced speakers and have been praised for our clear, accessible presentations.

“A good mix of practical advice, supported by the legal framework – we couldn’t ask for more!”
Julie Scowen, WPL Limited, Waterlooville

27 June 2019: Employment Law Update – Breakfast Workshop

27th June 2019 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

- Free

Join us for our latest series of workshops, where we will be bringing you up to speed on all the latest developments in the fast-paced world of employment law.  As usual, we will be using a round table format, giving you lots of opportunity for discussion and questions.

The sessions will involve our usual practical, down to earth take on topics including the following:

– Recent and forthcoming legal changes

– Vicarious liability and the implications for employers

– The latest on employment status and the ‘gig economy’

– Case law update, covering cases on:

    – Unfair Dismissal

    – Whistleblowing

    – Discrimination

If there is another topic you are keen for us to cover, please do let us know!

There will be plenty of opportunity throughout the workshop to ask questions of our friendly, knowledgeable team, and we will also finish with a Q&A/surgery session.

Location & Times

This workshop will be a breakfast event on Thursday 27 June with registration from 8am with refreshments, pastries and fruit available. The workshop will begin at 8.30am and we would expect to finish at around 10.00am. The event will be held in our seminar room at our offices, 1 Little London, Chichester, West Sussex PO19 1PH. Our office is very close to the Little London public car park, but it is within easy reach of the other city centre car parks too (the city parking map is available here).
