Anna obtained a degree in environmental science from the University of Portsmouth in 2002 and went on to complete her legal conversion courses at the University of Brighton and BPP Law School. Whilst obtaining her legal qualifications, Anna also worked for five and half years as an environmental specialist for Rolls-Royce. Anna qualified as a solicitor in 2010 after completing her training course with a major regional law firm. Anna has worked as an employment lawyer in a Wiltshire law firm and also as a legal consultant for a company offering both employment law and commercial advice to the recruitment sector. Anna joined Pure Employment Law in 2011.

Anna has gained experience in both contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law including unfair dismissal, discrimination, employment status issues, disciplinary and grievance procedures, employment documentation such as contracts and policies, redundancy and advice on compromise agreements.
